Seasonal Schools In Bereavement
Counselling (Longer Courses)
The Bereavement CARE Centre conducts 6-day seasonal schools
in bereavement counselling, ie Summer and Winter, which are more
practical for people geographically distant from Sydney, or for
those needing to attend training courses in their holidays. The
six days consist of the Core Course plus the Adult Stream and constitute
the basis around which all other Centre courses are developed. The
course may include a weekend, and, as with all other courses at
the Centre, runs from 9.30am to 4.30pm each day.

in the previous twelve months. The courses are skills focused
and do not provide therapy.
All courses are from 9.30am to 4.30pm unless stated otherwise.
Doors will open 30 minutes before commencement of course. It is
important that participants attend all sessions so that group
dynamics are not disrupted by absences.
Light lunch, morning and afternoon tea provided. Special diets
not catered for.
