You were taken so young it is so unfair.

You had so much living to do and so
desperate to stay.

You were determined to meet your first Grandchild
and almost did.

You were so strong given what was laid out but
faced it with dignity and a little humour.

You were my best friend and my Mum.

I am so sad that you are gone and I think about you daily

I wish you were here to watch her grow.

I know that I will be okay.
